1. What is your favourite Christmas film?
I think i would have to say Love Actually. It's such a classic and definitely gets you right in the feels, which is exactly what you want from a christmas film. It without a doubt gets me in the festive mood and really highlights the importance of friends and family at this time of year.
2. Have you ever had a White Christmas?
Sadly not. We don't get a lot of snow full stop where I live. Although I have always dreamed of it, so I am determined that one day I will.
3. Where do you usually spend your holiday?
At home with my family. When I was younger we occasionally visited my grandparents, but mostly we stay at home.
4. What is your favourite Christmas song?
It's so hard to pick just one but I think christmas wouldn't be the same without BandAid 1984 or Merry Xmas Everybody by Slade.
5. Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?
For a long time as a child I always tried to make this a thing but it's never been a part of our tradition. However we were allowed to crack open the Quality Street and the Heros, so that was good enough!
6. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?
Rudolph, Blitzen, Vixen, Dasher, Dancer, Donner... I'm stuck already.
7. What holiday traditions are you looking forward to most this year?
Late night shopping, decorating the tree and house, having christmas dinner, pulling crackers and spending time with family and friends.
8. Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
For a lot of my childhood we had a fake tree, but much to my delight we've had real trees for quite a few years now.
9. What is your all-time favourite holiday food/sweet treat?
Pigs in blankets. Just pile them on my plate and keep them coming.
10. Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?
Giving gifts, I love finding presents I know people will love and seeing their reaction when they open it. Also I love the surprise of it and the wrapping process!
11. What is the best Christmas gift you’ve ever received?
My pony. Without sounding like some spoilt brat. She wasn't bought for me and technically she was already mine. I had been looking after her for a couple of years already so it was just the physical signing of her passport over to me that I got that christmas. But the sentiment was there and it was so lovely.
12. What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?
New York City. Cliche as hell but it's honestly my dream. I've been lucky enough to visit NYC already and I adored it, so I just know going at christmas time would be incredible.
13. Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?
I'm not a pro but I'm also not amazing. My sister always does such creative wrapping and I attempt to imitate. Although I have got better with practise and last year I was actually quite proud.
14. What made you realise the truth about Santa?
This is much debated and my sister disagrees, but I'm pretty sure that one christmas I was sleeping over our family friends house and my sister and her friend told me. Who knows if we'll ever know if that happened, or I just found out as I got older.
15. Do you make New Years resolutions? Do you stick to them?
Every year I make new year resolutions, especially since having this blog. However I am awful at sticking to them, I once tried to go vegetarian and that lasted until New Years Day morning, oops.
16. What makes the holidays special for you?
The atmosphere that comes with it. I love how cozy and happy the holiday season is. I love the music and the ability to be around so many people I love all at once. I love that is brings people together and you can enjoy good food with good company.
