Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 hour Foundation

I'm forever looking for a foundation that is compatible with my skin. I get really dry patches on my T-zone and across the top of my cheeks, this being the focal point of the face it's not the best if your foundation clings here. So finding one that doesn't highlight my dryer areas but also has coverage and stays all day is something that I am still searching for.

Since Rimmel has released this lighter shade to their ranges (010 Light Porcelain) I have favoured them as my go to brand for foundation as it is a perfect colour match. It is more of a pinker base as opposed to a lot of other brands being yellow-y, and me being pale with quite a lot of redness on my face, yellow bases don't match on my skin.

I would say this foundation has a medium coverage but can definitely be built up to have a fuller coverage. I don't tend to wear foundation for 25 hours so I can't confirm the name but it does last all day on my skin, and I don't tend to touch up during the day as I don't have the time. On a negative note, I did find that where it was built up with concealer too it can look a bit cakey if you powder over the top, but this doesn't bother me too much as I don't always use powder.

I really like to apply this foundation with the Real Techniques Beauty blender, it allows you to get a really nice, even coverage without any brush strokes. It's really simple to use and fits into every curve of your face. I have only used this dry so far but they do say you can use it wet as well, which is quite different from the typical brush application, although a bit out of my novice comfort zone.
