Winter Wishlist

So I got really good feedback on my last wishlist and I really enjoyed putting it together, so I thought I'd do another! Considering October has gone crazily fast and I haven't posted half as much as I wanted to, I kicked myself up the bum and sat down to write this. There's quite a random mixture this time, and a lot of candles! I just love them ok.

Liebster Award

So today's post is a bit different from my normal ones and I haven't done a tag post before either, but I was lucky enough to be nominated by the lovely Charlotte, she has a great blog so go check her out!

Now part of the rules of being nominated is to answer the question they have asked, so here goes..

1. Who/what is your blogging influence or inspiration?

Originally my blogging influence was Zoella and SprinkleofGlitter, I saw they're videos on youtube and discovered their blogs after that. I wasn't (and still aren't) brave enough to have a vlog but I really enjoy writing so having a blog sounded perfect for me! I love beauty and most of my friends really just aren't as interested, so this is a good way for me to let it out and also its a nice place to have of my own just to write what I want freely.

2. If you were on a desert island with one person, who would you want that one person to be and why?

For some reason this was the hardest question to answer and I've actually saved it for last. I think I would want my friend Ruby, because we are so similar, and I wouldn't get annoyed by being stuck with her and just her, we would be able to have a good time but I also reckon we'd be able to get off the island somehow, 2 brains are better than 1!

3. What is your most repurchased cosmetic product?

I would say Maybelline's colossal volume mascara, I used this a lot before I was really into beauty and I still use it now. It's such a great product and isn't very expensive either, definitely one of my staples.

4. What makeup brand do you own the largest number of products from?

Rimmel. No doubt about it, I love so many of their products and they're a consistently good brand; not to expensive and such a variety.

5. What is your ideal career and why?

I have tried over and over to decide what I actually want to do, but I am just way to indecisive (oh dear) but ideally I would love to be an author. I love writing and creating things that don't have to be real, there is no limit on where a story can or must go, I also love how writing how affect people, books are such a get away and I would love to be able to do that.

6. If you had to pick one piece of clothing to wear for the rest of your life what would it be?

My baggy woolly jumper, I get cold quite easily so being cosy and warm is perfect for me, I also just love how comfy it is and how versatile woolly jumpers are. Mmm I can't wait for winter. 

7. Are you a shoes or bags kind of person?

Oh gosh, it's like picking your favourite child! I love both, but if I had to pick I would say bags.

8. If you had children what would you name them? (1boy name, 1 girl name)

I've always like the name Evie or Effie for a girl, and I really like the name Ezra for a boy. (sorry I cheated)

9. Would you rather wear a monochrome outfit or a neon outfit?

Monochrome. I'm not the type of person to want to stand out or draw attention to myself, so I wouldn't be confident in neon, no thankyou.

10. What is your favourite colour and why?

Purple, because in almost every shade it comes in it is such a pretty colour!

Autumn Madness

Autumn has taken over me! This year more than the rest I have become obsessed with autumn and everything it entails, and I think it is due to blogging! There is such a huge commotion over this season more than most I think as it is such a change from summer. Having to wrap up in layers, hot drinks of every kind, berry coloured EVERYTHING and looking forward to all the occasions that happen from now on.

This year I really have got into it, and not going to lie, I'm loving it! (I sound like McDonald's oh dear) I did my A/W wishlist last time and I'm happy to say I've been quite successful, I've bought the lipstick and although not the same brand I have gone crazyy! for nail varnishes lately, and I mean about 6 nail varnishes in 2 weeks. Is that normal?

I have my eyes on soo many scarves for this season and I'm really loving tartan. Today I bought the W7 Naked Nudes eyeshadow palette (if you want a review just ask). it was silly cheap and I'd seen it on the blogosphere a while ago so thought I'd pick it up.

Now what I really wanted to write about is one nail varnish in particular, Barry M's Berry Cosmo 356, for me it is THE autumnal shade and I have fallen in love! if that's possible with a nail varnish. Its a burgundy purpley colour with an almost reddy undertone (can't you tell I'm great at describing colours?) that is just gorgeous, with one coat it is opaque and a lovely colour but as you add more coats it gets darker (obviously?) so it is really versatile and I reckon would flatter anyone.

I just love this nail varnish so much and can see myself wearing it so much this season!

Sorry I haven't posted in so long, it has been manic, not a good excuse I know.

Autumn Wishlist

It's actually October! I can not believe how fast 2013 has gone but I am so happy that autumn is finally here, I love the colours that come with autumn and how they transfer into fashion and makeup. Berry colours are just gorgeous and I think they flatter everyone, so as I'm so excited about autumn I thought I'd do my first wishlist post, I see these types of posts around a lot and love to see what everyone is drooling over (I'm just nosey ok?), so I thought I'd share what I've got my eyes on for this autumn.
