I found these sneaky little beauties by accident whilst trying to find a nice yet cheap lipstick for an impromptu meal out. They were a mere £2.59 and when I swatched it on my hand I was astounded by the pigment, so in my basket it went and my purse was as happy as me! The one I first picked up at that point was the red, Malaga, my sister was impressed with it when she saw me wearing it and also with the price, so compliments are always good when you stumble upon products like this. However my only down side to these are that, as you get with cheap products, they don't last that long, so do require attentive upkeep, which a lot of people won't like I know, so sorry you to lot! But I just couldn't not mention these as girls just starting out or who are on a budget like me will love them.

So as I liked Malaga so much I popped back when I had more time and browsed the rest of the collection, of which I found two more that jumped out at me when I swatched them. Firstly I was looking for more berry/ dark coloured lipstick as I'm loving them at the moment and don't have many, therefore Sweet Berry was a good option for this criteria and the colour really is just lovely. However as you know you can never have enough nudey natural colours, and Candy Cake is a lovely nude which is more on the pink side and so it suits my pale complexion really well.

So now with a trio of these lipsticks I think I've collected a good range of colours that suit a lot of different occasions, only amounting to £7.77 which lets face it is around the price of one usual drugstore brand lipstick. I think I can face a few more top ups for that price cut, can't you?

Also lastly I think they have pretty sleek packaging for a cheap brand, the black is a classic packaging theme, however I love that you can see the colour of the lipstick through the tube, very clever (little things guys).

I hope this was helpful and and you enjoyed this post :)

FOTD ~ Sales Shopping

So I decided since I was actually going to be in public for the first time since before Christmas (crazy I know, so lazy!), I thought I'd do something interesting with my makeup and put some effort in for once rather than going for my easy, everyday look.

I used my usual base of Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation in 100 ivory, Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Light 2, finished off with Rimmel Stay Matte powder in 001 Transparent (forgot to add in the photo sorry guys). On my cheeks I used a light dusting of my current favourite blush Sleek Antique Blush.

Then onto my eyes I used my MUA Undress Me Too palette, with the shade Wink all over my lid and Obsession in my crease. I then put at thin line of liquid liner on my upper lash line with my L'Oreal Super Liner, which may I say I am super impressed with! I will review this separately soon. Finishing my lashes with lots of mascara, the Maybelline Colossal for volume and Falsies for extra curl, as for some reason I never think one mascara is enough, it just doesn't look right (strange I know); for my brows I use Collection Colour Lash clear mascara just to keep them in check and neat.
Then on my lips I used my trusty Rimmel Kate 107 to keep it festive and wintery.

I hope you liked seeing my fotd and I hope to do more of these in the future when I decide to be a bit more adventurous with my makeup.

Favourite Winter Lipsticks

Considering I'm getting really into lipsticks now, I thought I would share with you my favourites lippys for winter. You'll notice they're all similar and quite dark, but I'm not scared of bold lips any more, proud moment girls!

So these are the products that I have been reaching for the most lately, ranging from subtle to bold, I like the variety yet similarity in these and all the different ways they can be worn.

I am loving lip stains a lot as they are so much less hassle and I totally forget that I'm wearing them so they are very comfortable, however I do need to add lip balm every now and then as they are a tad drying. But definitely a lot less effort than lipstick, yet still the same colour pay off with the red and a more subtle colour with the nude.

I highly recommend all these products, so check them out if they take your fancy!
(although I will say that the Miss Sporty lipstick doesn't last a huge amount of time, yet it does have brilliant pigmentation)

Baby Lips-£2.99
Miss Sporty-£2.59
Rimmel Kate -£5.49
Revlon-£7.49
Rimmel 1000 kisses-£5.99

I hope you liked seeing what I've been loving, let me know any of your favourites, I'd love to know or find some new ones!

London Haul

Today I am going to show you all the things the things I got whilst in London the past couple of days.

I got to go to most of the shops that I wanted to go, as we don't have a lot of them down here, so I'm happy with everything I got.

Primark- £2

Boots- L to R- Pink Cloud, Cool, Rosey Glow- 3 for £5

Primark- L to R- shoes £6, jeans £11, tartan scarf £4, pink knitted scarf £4
I'm so pleased that I managed to visit a M.A.C store as I've only ever been in one before and never got the chance to buy anything while I was there  so this time I took my time to take it all in and admire the products (a bit obsessed? I think so) and finally decided on a lipstick, (it had to be a lipstick of course!), and that was Crosswires, I had seen this mentioned by Estee (essiebutton) before and when I saw it I thought I would see if I liked it just as much as she did, and obviously I did! its a lovely coral-y pink that's quite bold but not too much for everyday wear; I also think it's quite suitable for all year round as it doesn't quite fit into any specific category, although if I had to I would say it more of a spring/summer colour more down to it's brightness. Anyway I love it and am happy to finally have a M.A.C lippy in my collection.

Also as there was an offer on Natural Collection I decided to pick up three items; I initially went to pick up a blusher as I've heard good things despite the cheap price tag, however when I saw the offer I could refuse, I mean it would be rude not to, right? I haven't got a proper pinky blush so I thought Pink Cloud would be a nice addition to my makeup bag and I thought that Rosey Glow (although it looks quite dark in the pictures) might be a nice autumn/winter colour, slightly similar to my Sleek Antique blush, although matte.

Finally the obvious stop was primark! The one on Oxford Street is so huge compared to my local one that I actually had to give up and leave with what I had, it was just so overwhelming and to much choice. However I did manage to get a few things that I'm really happy with especially the scarves!

I did actually buy a few things in H&M and Forever 21 as well but they were more basics (less interesting) and just general clothes that I needed.
I had a really great time in London, it's still such a novelty for me to go up there as I live so far away, so I really make the most of it when I get the chance.

I hope you enjoyed this little feature and this haul, don't forget to check me out at my other links, and remember I'm doing the #2014bloggerchallenge in the new year so keep an eye out for those posts!

London Day #3

Hello again,
So today was a lot more laid back and fun compared to yesterday, although we had to leave the travelodge quite early.
This morning we went to the London Dungeons, which was great as I've never been before and have always wanted to go. It was very jumpy and tense yet that made it all funnier especially everyone's reactions (boys included, their not as macho as they make out). Overall it was really fun and definitely worth it.
After that we had some free time to wonder Oxford Street and shop of course, while waiting for our coach. I can tell you it was a very successful afternoon, and I think I just about have all my christmas presents sorted as well as sone treats for me, shh.
Finally after waiting for the other half of our group we're now on the coach home, feeling very sleepy and eager to get back in my own bed.
I hope it hasn't been to boring reading about my trip, but I'm sure you'll enjoy the pictures anyway.
Thanks for reading my post and don't forget to check me out on twitter and bloglovin, also I'm taking part in the #2014bloggerchallenge so look out for those posts up in the new year.
I'll be posting a haul of what I got whilst in London soon.

London Day #1 & Day #2

First of all apologies if this post looks odd or different, I'm writing it from my phone as the title explains, I'm going to London!
I wasn't planning on writing about it but considering it will be so christmassy I thought it might make a nice feature and I'll be able to share the pictures I take too.
Yesterday we just travelled down on a coach so I didn't think that was too interesting to write about.
However as I'm on this trip for law we had to get on with the educational (boring) bits first. With an early rise this morning we took the tube to the Houses of Parliament and had a guided tour.
After that we went over to Stanford Bridge and had a guided tour of the stadium, which as I'm not a huge fan of football was surprisingly interesting and cool especially as my family support Chelsea (lucky right?).
Finally we got the tube back to Westminster and had a talk in the Supreme Court. A bit sleep inducing at points but at last we got to go shopping! With an all day, all zone tube ticket we roamed London til our feet were sore, only coming back to the travelodge at 10.
Successful afternoon/evening of shopping and wondering around London, topped of with my FIRST EVER MAC PURCHASE! Woo finally I got my hands on the goods, I bought a lipstick of course but I'll dedicate a whole other post to that lovely when I'm home.
Hope you enjoyed this post and I'll update again tomorrow on the journey home.
Don't forget to check me out on twitter and bloglovin.

Zoeva Wishlist

So I've heard of Zoeva before but never really taken a look at their products, and I was pleasantly surprised when I did. They are a lot cheaper than I thought they would be and look really lovely. The only down side is the expensive p+p, however if you build up what you want or save up I'm sure it wouldn't be too much of a problem.

Just from browsing the site I already have a slight wishlist, so I thought I'd share it with you.

1/2/3/4/5/6/7
The packaging is gorgeous and sleek, the brushes look so nice and there have been plenty of good reviews on them. The neutral palette was the biggest shock for me as you get 28 shadows and there is such an amazing selection of colours, also its only about £16! (exc. p+p) which is a bargain is you compare it to MAC or similar makes.

At the moment with christmas and birthdays at the same time I can't afford to get anything yet but I'm hoping in the new year a few of these products may be on it's way to me. Birthday wishlist I'm thinking.

Hope you enjoyed looking at my droolings.
